The industrial site of the former De Arend brewery in Kortemark has been made into a lively new courtyard.
The old buildings are making way for a new public library & commercial space in combination with apartments, loft apartments, assisted-living homes and a residential care centre.
The project has been brought about by a partnership between the municipal authority of Kortemark, the project developer CAAAP, the contractor Artes Depret and Salens Architecten.
